Media spokesperson/ Naval coordinator for media Centre for national security (Successfully assisted the coordination between the Sri Lanka Navy and the media center for national security during the war at its peak, on matters that affect the National security and national interest and briefing prior to transmitting sensitive reports to media).

Also, he has commanded many Naval Warships. Shore bases and held many senior administrative staff appointments during the carrier.
